Dokudami (drypoint etching by Yaemi Shigyo)
Dokudami

Drypoint etching, 150×200, June 2018

Series: Garden

Dokudami (fish mint) grows aggressively from its thick network of roots. It appears to grow more in shady places than sunny ones. I have pulled it out many times, but it has always grown nicely in both our current and previous gardens. Aside from its odd smell, I like the flowers and leaves.
