Series: The Sun
This is a work for a drypoint group exhibition in October 2022, where the common theme was the Sun. This depicts the dance of Ame-no-Uzume in front of Ama-no-Iwato (the Cave of Heaven). The sun goddess Amaterasu had hidden herself in the cave, but she wondered what was happening and peeped out because of the joyful sounds. Then she was pulled out from the cave.
